In this workshop, we’ll explore whether Jesus might be understood as the ideal sage imagined by the Stoics. We’ll look closely at the core Stoic virtues—wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance—and place them alongside the teachings and life of Jesus. Together, we’ll engage both Scripture and classical philosophy to ask where Jesus aligns with Stoic thought, where he pushes back, and where he offers something even deeper.
