Submit An Event

If your event is open to the public and hosted  in Houston, Fillmore, Mower, Winona or Olmsted county, you can promote it here in minutes!

Post events focused on music, theater, art, the outdoors, hobbies, games, heritage, sport, food, community fundraising, seasonal activities, learning, job fairs, church dinners, festivals, open houses, and retail events with demonstrations. Non-partisan meet-the-candidate events, listening sessions with elected officials, chef’s dinners, holiday meals, business networking, trainings, community-wide sales events and multi-vendor markets are also welcome.

Political rallies, partisan events, retail discounts or happy hours may not be posted. Links to school and government calendars can be found here.

Root River Current will review and approve your submission. We reserve the right to edit entries and to accept or reject a submission for any reason.
