Colleen Foehrenbacher is Executive Director of Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center near Lanesboro. She grew up in Ohio, earned a biology degree from Wittenberg University, and studied environmental education at Hamline University in St. Paul. “My one-year plan was to come to Minnesota, deal with the cold, learn to be a quality educator, and head south.” But this place and its outdoor ethos pulled her in. “I fell in love with Eagle Bluff, with teaching, and with the beauty of the Driftless region.”
