Fillmore County Agricultural Society Annual Meeting

The Fillmore County Fair has been a family tradition since 1858, and the Fillmore County Agriculture Society has been planning and hosting it since 1865. This multi-generational fair is a reflection of the values, culture, history, heritage and dreams of all who call Fillmore County home. Members of the Society’s board of directors represent all parts of the county, and make the fair a special event every year.

Director positions open for election at this meeting include:

• District 1 (Sumner, Jordan, Chatfield, Spring Valley, Fillmore Townships)
  2-yr, and 3-yr terms open
• District 2 (Arendahl, Holt, Norway, City of Rushford Village, Pilot Mound Townships)
  3-yr term open
• District 3 (Bloomfield, Beaver, Forestville, York Townships)
  1-yr, 3-yr terms open
• District 4 (Carrolton, Carimona, Bristol, Fountain, Preston Townships)
  3-yr term open
• District 5 (Amherst, Canton, Harmony, Newburg, Preble Townships)
  2-yr. and 3-yr terms open
  2 at-large positions open

Eligible voters at the annual meeting are parents or guardians of exhibitors under 18 year of age, adult exhibitors at the fair immediately preceding the annual meeting, or any person who pays a life membership fee of $1.00 to the society. This meeting is open to all, and we encourage you to be part of this local effort.
