Heidi Wiese is an educator and certified spiritual director who accompanied her mother in the losses and riches of aging. Heidi now shares her findings with those who desire to age faithfully and those who accompany them. Her heartfelt message will appeal to the spiritual senses of the lifelong learner, inspiring others to explore aging with the God who sustains them.

Heidi Wiese Bio
After a career in physical education and coaching, Heidi Wiese has turned her attention to adults. Heidi holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling with an emphasis on health and wellness. Within the church setting, she has served as a Stephen Leader for the Stephen Ministry program, training others in the role of accompanying those experiencing life challenges. She received her spiritual direction certification through Tending the Holy, a course offered by Christos Center for Spiritual Formation in Lino Lakes, MN, and currently serves as a facilitator within the training program. Heidi is an instructor for the Roberta Kuhn Center in Dubuque, IA, an agency offering classes for people 55 and older. Her current class offerings center on aging faithfully and the practice of solitude and silence. Heidi’s passion for spiritual practices is fulfilled not only in her own engagement but in sharing them with others.
