Overview

Be part of a collaboration that’s working together to remove invasive species and restore native vegetation at Winona’s Prairie Island Park. You’re invited to join us for a winter workday from 3:00 p.m. until dark. (As long as the temperatures are above 25F!)

Collaborators include:

  • The City of Winona Department of Natural Resources & Sustainability
  • Front Porch Management
  • The Will Dilg Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America

WHAT TO BRING
Hand saws, daubers, and instructions will be provided. We suggest wearing snow pants and warm work gloves.

LOCATION:

Meet at the John Latsch Shelter and be ready to connect with other folks!
