Rhubarb Festival

Celebrate Minnesota’s sweet-tart favorite in Lanesboro – the Rhubarb Capital of Minnesota – recognized by the Minnesota State Legislature by proclamation in 2008.

The festival centers in Sylvan Park, in downtown Lanesboro. Enjoy free rhubarb games and contests, including tasting of a wide variety of delicious rhubarb treats. Vote for your favorite! Great prizes for all events.

Other free entertainment includes a rhubarb fashion show (you can be in it), an educational zoo, a story tree, photos in a rhubarb cutout, and Rhub-Art opportunities.

Music fills the park the entire day, so bring your lawn chair and enjoy it all!
