About the Book
Fish of the Root River is the first comprehensive guide to the 100+ fish species inhabiting southeastern Minnesota’s Root River. Spanning 250 full-color pages, it combines natural-light photography, maps, and field notes to document a remarkable biodiversity rarely seen outside scientific texts.

With full-page spreads and detailed profiles, it serves as both a definitive reference and a fine art book – the first of its kind for this region. Whether used as a field companion or displayed as a work of art, it appeals equally to seasoned outdoorsmen, naturalists, and curious newcomers.
