Seasonal crafts, baked goods, and lots of revelry highlight the dozens — if not hundreds — of community bazaars and holiday ‘bake sales’ held throughout the Root River Valley each December.

Be sure to take advantage of these once-a-year opportunities in YOUR COMMUNITY. They’re a chance to visit with friends, sample tasty sweets and maybe even help you check a few more things off your gift list.

But more than anything, these gatherings are about the people and their shared seasonal joy — as experienced by John Weiss during his 2023 visit to Preston’s Christ Lutheran Church Fair & Bake Sale.
