Thankful for…

Thankful for…the brilliance of a “supermoon”; though not bright enough to generate any “Lunar ‘Lectricity,” the moon’s brilliance provides mesmerizing reflections off the solar shingles of Joe Deden and Mary Bell’s All Electric Forever Home in Lanesboro. Also known as the Beaver Moon – signaling the time when beavers prepare for the winter by fortifying dams and stocking their food supply – the moon’s mid-November appearance was 2024’s fourth and final “supermoon.” (Photo by Joe Deden)

Thankful for…another season of fall football, talented youth, and high school spirit as demonstrated earlier this fall between the Caledonia Warriors and the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals. (Photo by Craig Johnson)

Thankful for…the greens of summer that dissolve into shades of yellow, muted oranges, and earthy browns, where fields and woodlands merge near Preston. (Photo by Craig Johnson)
