Join Houston County 4-H for a fun day trip to northeast Iowa, touring Effigy Mounds and Spook Cave.

You do not need to be a member of 4H to participate in this activity. All youth in grades three and up may participate. Kids in grades K-2 (minimum age 5) may attend with a parent. Six chaperones are needed.

The bus will leave the Houston County Fairgrounds at 8:45 a.m. and we expect to return around 5:30 p.m.

This trip will be delivered in English. Interpreter services may be available with an advance request.

Please note:

• Bring a sack lunch. Some snacks and water will be provided.
• Please bring money to purchase ice cream or other items at Spook Cave.
• There will be 20 kid fishing poles and bait available at Spook Cave to fish for catch and release.
• This is a rain-or-shine event, so please watch the weather and dress accordingly.
